Always discuss your limits, triggers, medical conditions, aftercare requirements and safe words/gestures before engaging in BDSM play. Common safe words are "green" if things feel good or you want the intensity to increase, "yellow" if you're approaching a limit or need the intensity reduced, and "red" to stop immediately and check in. If you are unable to use a safe word (due to being gagged or becoming non-verbal during play for example), have a safe gesture instead, such as dropping something that has been placed in your hand (a cat toy with bells on it works well) or holding up 2 fingers. If you are in restrictive bondage such as in a sleep sack, having a toy in your hand that squeaks when squeezed can be a good option.
Never leave someone unattended or break visual contact (turn your back to them) when they are in restrictive bondage or if breathing may become impaired (for example while wearing a hood).
We encourage you to read all of the "Safety First" information below.

The Saint Andrew's cross (also referred to as an X-cross or X-frame) is a common piece of dungeon equipment. It provides restraining points for ankles, wrists, and waist. When secured to the cross, the submissive is restrained in a standing spread eagle position.
The cross is securely attached to the studs of the wall and has restraint points at varying heights along the inner and outer edges.
This position is perfect for impact play (bare hands, floggers, whips, paddles, canes) and sensation play (feather duster, fingernails, ice cubes, pinwheel).
You may want to begin by attaching leather cuffs around the submissive's wrists and ankles and securing them to the restraint points on the cross with clips or rope. The studio has quick release suspension cuffs which allows you to take the submissive off the cross quickly if required. Intensify the bondage experience by adding bondage straps or rope around the thighs, calves and torso. If you aren't ready to use restraints, consider telling the submissive to hold their position against the cross.
To heighten sensations or play with sensory deprivation, add a blindfold, gag, and/or hood.
If this position is difficult on the submissive's shoulders, or if they experience numbness or tingling in their hands, arms can be lowered/positioned down by their sides and attached to the restraint points along the sides of the cross.
When taking the submissive off the cross, always undo the ankle restraints first then work your way up the body removing the wrist restraints last. If the submissive loses consciousness while the ankles are restrained and wrists are not, they will fall backwards which may cause significant injury.
The term "impact play" refers to the act of one partner making contact with the other using their body or an object such as a hand, flogger, whip, paddle, cane, wooden spoon, hairbrush, etc.
The release of endorphins and adrenaline can induce euphoria and deep relaxation. The consensual power exchange between partners can also be exciting.
Impact play is only safe on areas of the body that are well protected by fat or muscle (buttocks, upper back, front and back of thighs, calves, shoulders, chest). Always avoid bones, joints and organs, stomach, spine, neck, and head.
To learn more about impact play, please see ADDITIONAL RESOURCES at the bottom of this page, keeping in mind that they are not a replacement for in person safety training. For in person education, consider arranging a coaching session with Lady Azelle or Lady Delphine.
When the submissive is face out on the St. Andrew's cross, they can still be restrained in a standing spread eagle position, but unlike the face in option, it exposes the more sensitive areas of the body. This creates a feeling of vulnerability and allows for more intimate access.
The cross is securely attached to the studs of the wall and has restraint points at varying heights along the inner and outer edges.
This position is also perfect for impact play (bare hands, floggers, whips, paddles, canes) and sensation play (feather duster, fingernails, ice cubes, pinwheel). With the front of the body accessible, it lends well to nipple play, nipple clamps, and intimate teasing/stimulation. For more advanced players who enjoy CBT, the parachute with added weights works well here as does ball busting. Clothes pegs could be used on the nipples, genitals, and on the fleshy underside of the arms and inner thighs.

The bondage bed can be found in the main play area and is a very versatile piece of furniture.
It has been fashioned with stocks on one end and a spanking bench with built in bondage straps on the other. Multiple pulleys, restraint points, beams and a removeable padded surface lends itself to endless options for creative positioning and play.
The ways to utilize this bondage bed are unlimited. Here are some suggestions:
1. Have your submissive bend over the end of the bed with their knees on the pads (as pictured). Restrain them with the built in bondage straps and attach wrist cuffs to the outside restraint points with clips or with rope extending their arms out in front of them. This is a perfect position for impact play, tease and denial or penetrative play.
2. Use the body bag on the padded surface and add bondage straps or rope for more intense bondage. Learn more about the body bag below.
3. Have your submissive stand on the stocks side of the bed and bend over. Put their head and wrists through the stocks and lock them in. This allows you to access their backside and their head/face. Alternatively, have them lay on their back on the padded surface of the bed and lock their ankles in the wrist cut outs on the stocks for bastinado or tickle torture.
4. Have your submissive lay (possibly restrained) on their back on the padded surface and straddle the upper beam for trampling and foot worship.
5. Use the pulley with rope or the parachute secured around male genitals to add a stretching sensation and predicament CBT.
6. Have your submissive on their back on the padded surface with their hips close to the spanking bench edge of the bed with legs straight up and spread, attach ankle cuffs to the large restraint points on the top, outer side of the beams.
7. Turn the bed into a milking table by carefully lifting and sliding the padded surface out the end of the bed (please do not scuff the vinyl). Hog tie or otherwise restrain your submissive face down with their body positioned in a way that allows intimate access under the bed through the cut out. A ball gag and/or blindfold is a perfect addition to a hog tie position.
1. Have your submissive stand on the floor at the end of the bed first then bend over placing the weight of their body on the padded surface first before kneeling on the knee pads. The knee pads are not designed to hold the entire body weight. You may want to use a pillow under the chest or head to make your submissive more comfortable and make breathing easier.
2. Learn more about body bag safety below.
3. The wrist cut outs are quite large on these stocks so consider adding cuff restraints as well. Keep communication open and readjust position if required to reduce the chance of neck injury.
4. Please do not attempt this is you have difficulty with balance, a history of vertigo or seizures. Please education yourself on trampling safety prior to engaging in this type of play.
5. Learn more about CBT in the ADDITIONAL RESOURCES at the bottom of this page. Bondage of the testes should not last for more than 15 mins. Testes should be released immediately if they become blue/purple or cold to the touch.
6. Please be mindful and communicate with your submissive about their hip, inner thigh and hamstring flexibility and comfort. Consider stretching in advance to reduce the risk of injury.
7. An easy way to put your submissive in a hogtie position is to secure leather cuffs around their wrists and ankles and attach them behind their back with the 4-point hog tie clip located on the bottom left hand side of the wall rack.
The bondage chair can be found against the wall in the medical room.
This piece of equipment be a fun way to restrain your submissive, particularly because the front side and intimate areas of their body are exposed.
The bondage chair is fashioned with metal restraint rings and built in loops.
Attach cuffs to the submissive's ankles and wrists and attach to the restraint rings using clips or rope. Hands can be positioned above the head (as pictured) or down by the sides. Bondage mitts work well here too. For additional bondage, add bondage straps or rope around the thighs or around the body, threading the straps through the built in loops on both sides of the chair.
This is a great position for CBT, ball busting, tease and denial, electro play, nipple stimulation, sensation play, breath play, intimate pleasure, ana play or an interrogation.
Add a posture collar, hood, gag and/or blindfold.
NEVER use the bondage chair without it being supported against a solid surface. Place it in front of a wall or the St. Andrew's for example. It will tip backwards and potentially cause harm.
To learn more about CBT, please see ADDITIONAL RESOURCES at the bottom of this page, keeping in mind that they are not a replacement for in person safety training. For in person education, consider arranging a coaching session with Lady Azelle or Lady Delphine.
The red spanking horse can be found against the wall in the medical room. Each leg has restraint points and the height is adjustable.
Attach cuffs to the submissive's wrists and attach to the restraint points on the front legs using clips or rope. Bondage mitts work well here too. For additional bondage, add bondage straps or rope around the thighs threading the straps through the metal restraint loops on the back legs. Avoid straps on the back on knees.
This is a great position for CBT (especially with the weighted parachute, clothes pegs or rope bondage), impact play on bottom or back, anal play, pegging or sensation play. Having access to both the mouth and backside of the body allows for creative penetrative play, especially if there are more than 2 people involved in the scene.
Add a hood, gag and/or blindfold.
Pull up a chair and relax while submissive worships your feet.
The horse works best when placed on the area rug to keep it stationary.
Always use a puppy pad or rag on the floor under the horse if engaging in penetrative play or other fluids are being released. Both can be found in the bottom of the medical bed. There is a fee for the puppy pads (listed on the microwave).
The height should be adjusted so that the submissive can comfortably lean over the horse with feet touching the ground. The horse leg height can be adjusted by pushing in the metal tabs on both sides of the leg at the same time and sliding it up or down. Make sure all legs are at the same height. The maximum weight capacity is 250 lbs.
The spanking bench can be found in the main play space in front of the grey Murphy bed.
This bench only has restraint points on both ends which can be used to secure a collar, wrist cuffs or intimate areas of the body. Bondage straps can be used around legs, arms and torso.

Because this is a portable bench is NOT DESIGNED to support full body weight on the leg pads. Please bend over and place your body weight on the main torso pad first before placing arms and legs on the additional pads. They will break off otherwise. The maximum weight capacity is 250 lbs.
The suspension point can be found in the main play area hanging from the ceiling close to the St. Andrew's Cross. It is commercial grade with no weight restriction and has a manual chain mechanism for adjusting the height.
The ways to utilize the suspension point are unlimited. Here are some suggestions:
1. Use it with the metal spreader bar. Use suspension or other cuffs to restrain the submissive's arms above their head. Adjust the height by pulling on one side of the chain. Use ankle cuffs attached to the black spreader bar to restrain lower body. You can also do this with bondage straps secured around ankles, calves and thighs. Having access to both sides of the submissive's body allows for creative impact play, CBT (especially with the weighted parachute or rope bondage tied to the ankle spreader bar), electro play (the violet wand is kept in the right hand drawer of the medical bed), sensation play, nipple play, intimate worship or tease & denial. Add a gag, hood and/or blindfold.
2. Keep the metal spreader bar attached and use it with the sex swings that can be found hanging on the wall across from the washroom.
3. Use it with the metal spreader bar and upside down ankle suspension cuffs or gravity cuffs to hang your submissive upside down. A good way to achieve this position safely is to position the bench cage directly under the suspension point. Have your submissive lay on their back on the cage, secure the cuffs to their ankles and to the lowered metal spreader bar. Slowly raise the bar keeping a close eye to make sure the cuffs are secured completely. Once your submissive's hips/back start to lift off of the cage, hold their upper body and push the cage to the side, allowing enough space for them to hang upside down.
4. Remove the metal spreader bar and use with the leather hanging cage. Instructions below.
5. Use the suspension point for partial or full rope suspension.
1. It can be fun to see your submissive in this vulnerable position, especially if you keep raising the height until they are up on their tip toes. Please always be mindful of shoulder flexibility and check in with the submissive regularly to ask if their shoulders need to be adjusted. This position should not be used by individuals who have a current or previous shoulder injury. Read safety considerations below when using bondage straps. Always make sure carabiner clips are locked.
2. The leather sex swing can be lowered all the way to the ground and then raised once submissive is in position or can be placed on top of the bench cage if moved directly under the suspension point. Do what feel best then make adjustments as required. The sex swings should not be used by individuals who have a current or previous shoulder, back or neck injury. Always make sure carabiner clips are locked.
3. This position should be attempted by experienced players only. Regular check ins are vital. This position should not be used by individuals who have a current or previous ankle, back or neck injury.
4. Please read the leather hanging cage instructions and safety considerations below.
5. The studio only has cotton rope (kept the brown drawers next to the cross) which aren't approved for suspension. Please bring your own rope and make sure you are trained to do shibari safely. Used rope should be placed in the laundry basket in the medical room.
The leather bondage straps can be found hanging on the side of the wall rack closest to the front door.
The bench/cage is quite spacious. It can be found in the centre of the main play area, has a padded top and a lock on one side. There is a green exercise mat that fits well in the bottom if preferred which can be found in the boiler room (door to the left of the front door).
Bondage straps are a great choice for putting your submissive in a compression bondage position while still allowing full access to their body. Perfect for CBT, tease and denial, penetrative play, intimate worship, urethral sounding, electro play, nipple play, smothering, tickling, sensation play, bastinado, sensory deprivation with blindfold, earplugs and/or hood.
Begin by laying the straps across the surface (the bench cage, bondage bed, medical exam bed or floor are all good options), with the underside of the straps facing up. Have your submissive lay on their back on top of the open straps. Have the submissive place their arms down by their sides with palms facing in towards their body. Place padding between the knees and ankles (rolled small towels or foam pads work well). Position the straps around the body as pictured above avoiding joints. Secure the straps with the buckle, then tighten one at a time to desired intensity. Check in with the submissive to ask if any of the straps needed to be adjusted (tighter or looser).
A pillow under the head can prevent vertigo and increase comfort. A pillow or rolled towel under the knees can prevent back pain/pressure.
Never use a gag on a submissive when they are laying on their back as this increases the risk of aspiration from being unable to swallow their saliva.
Never use bondage straps on or around the neck.
Never use bondage straps on joints.
Never leave someone alone when they are in restrictive bondage. Do not turn your back on someone in bondage. Never use bondage on yourself when you are alone. This is how almost all bondage-related deaths occur.
Always have safety tools within arm's each to quickly remove the bondage in the case of an emergency. Safety scissors are kept in the medical cabinet and bolt cutters are kept in the bottom kitchen drawer.
Immediately remove bondage if there are any signs of nerve compression such as tingling, numbness, sharp pain, itching, burning, or a cold sensation. It is essential to periodically check for normal nerve function such as running your hand along the submissive's body to make sure they have full sensation, since the submissive's body may not provide any warning signals of impending injury.
Immediately remove bondage if the submissive uses their safe word or safe gesture.
The leather body bag can be found hanging on the wall behind the portable toy rack.
The body bag allows for more intense compression bondage and sensory deprivation. Sensory deprivation involves depriving your submissive of one or more of their senses, such as touch, sight and hearing. This not only helps make them feel more helpless and vulnerable, it also makes their other senses more sensitive to stimuli. This can result in an intensely erotic experience.
Body bags may have zippers to allow access to the nipples and bottom. It also may have a 3 way zipper that can be adjusted to expose the intimate areas of your submissive's body while the rest remains in complete bondage. Please be careful not to catch your submissive's genitals in the zipper when opening or closing the bag. Placing your hand between their body and the bag while zipping can help prevent injury. Having the genitals exposed allows for CBT (tie rope around the testes or use the parachute and secure to the pulley hanging from the top beam of the bondage bed), tease and denial, penetrative play, intimate worship, and urethral sounding. Increase the sensory deprivation with blindfold, earplugs and/or hood.
Begin by laying the body bag on a stable surface (the bench cage, bondage bed, or floor are all good options). Have your submissive lay on their back in the body bag and place their arms down by their sides with palms facing towards their body. Body bags may have internal sleeves for the arms but are often too short to be used comfortably. Place padding between the knees and ankles (rolled small towels or foam pads work well). Zip the bag up from bottom to top, adjusting the 3-way zipper if you choose. You can add an extra layer of compression bondage with bondage straps or rope. If using rope, pull it through the attached loops on both side of the bag and criss-cross it across the submissive's body or secure the rope to the bondage points on the side of the bondage bed. Avoid putting pressure on the submissive's joints. Check in with the submissive to ask if anything needs to be adjusted (tighter or looser).
A pillow under the head can prevent vertigo and increase comfort. A pillow or rolled towel under the knees can prevent back pain/pressure.
Never use a gag on a submissive when they are laying on their back as this increases the risk of aspiration from being unable to swallow their saliva.
Never use bondage on or around the neck.
Never use bondage to put pressure on joints.
Never leave someone who is in restrictive bondage alone. Do not turn your back on someone in bondage. Never use bondage on yourself when you are alone. This is how almost all bondage-related deaths occur.
Always have safety tools within arm's reach to quickly remove the bondage in the case of an emergency. Safety scissors are kept in the medical cabinet and bolt cutters are kept in the bottom kitchen drawer.

Immediately remove bondage if the submissive uses their safe word or safe gesture.
The extra large dog cage can be found in the medical room. It has a soft, comfortable padded mat, 2 different sized locking doors and locks.
This cage is the perfect spot to keep your pet confined for any amount of time, even overnight, whether they have been well behaved or not.
The most popular type of pet play is submissive pet play which involves a person taking a subservient role as a puppy, kitten, bunny, pony etc. Pet play may combine different aspects of BDSM such as bondage, discipline, punishment/reward and power play. Submissive pets may be bratty and/or eager to please. They often crave attention in the form of strokes, cuddles, treats, and playtime. They may also love to curl up on their owner’s lap or at their feet for a nap.
To enhance pet play you can add bondage mitts and muzzle (as pictured), handcuffs, shackles, collar and leash, gag, chastity device, anal plug, or hood.
The dog bowl can be found on the floor underneath the white medical cabinet.
The slats of this cage are the perfect width to allow your pet to worship your feet or other areas of your body while they remain inside.
Never leave someone unattended while in the crate.
Always negotiate interests and limits prior to playing and agree on a safe work or gesture.
When playing with metal handcuffs or shackles, test the key on the locking mechanism before placing them on your submissive. The master handcuff keys can be found in the medical cabinet. They are long and black and look different than the small keys that typically come with cuffs (pictured below). Also have bolt cutters available in case of emergency (found in the bottom kitchen drawer).
The medical exam bed can be found in the medical room. It is adjustable and has metal stirrups. The straitjacket pictured can be found hanging on the wall with the body bag behind the portable toy rack.
Medical play is a type of BDSM play which involves medical scenarios, procedures and practices. It’s a relatively common kink – so common, in fact, that you can see traces of it in popular culture such as the “sexy nurse” outfits that are available everywhere at Halloween. Medical play can straddle the line between sexy and intimidating. It may be serious and intense or flirty and playful. Medical fetishist are commonly drawn to the power play dynamic of medical provider and patient.
You will find some medical equipment close to the bed such as stainless steel enema bucket, IV stand, commode, portable medical table, blood pressure cuff and stethoscope. Zeus electro toys and conductive jelly (fee required) can be found in the left hand drawer of the medical exam bed and a violet wand/power tripper attachment in the right. In the medical cabinet you can find urethral sounds (flat end and rosebud), metal anal speculum, sterile hypodermic needles (fee required) as well as other implements that will enhance a medical play scene.
Familiarize yourself with and implement a R.A.C.K (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) approach with your play partner.
Only engage in medical play activities that you have been professionally trained to do.
To learn more about urethral sounding and play piercing, please see ADDITIONAL RESOURCES at the bottom of this page, keeping in mind that they are not a replacement for in person safety training. For in person education, consider arranging a coaching session with Lady Azelle or Lady Delphine.
Please use a puppy pad between the bed and the submissive (found under the medical exam bed, fee required) and thoroughly disinfect with wipes and spray after use. Bring your own disposable drop sheets for blood/fluid play and dispose of them in the metal trailer/garbage disposal at the back of the building after rental.
The leather hanging cage can be found hanging on the wall behind the portable toy rack, next to the sliding doors.
STEP 1
Lower the suspension point to a height that's slightly higher than the submissive's head.
Remove the metal spreader bar and attach 2 carabiner clips to the suspension point hook. Remove the leather hanging cage from the wall and position it directly under the suspension point hook. Open up the cage and have the submissive stand on the wooden circular platform on the bottom with their arms straight down by their sides, palms facing in towards their body.
When the submissive feel steady, place the large ring around their neck.

STEP 2
Bring the sides of the cage up around their body and attach the inner snaps around the ring.
Attach 3 D-rings on the cage (there are 6 in total) to each carabiner clip (try to stack them in a way that makes sense and keeps the structure smooth). Lock both cariner clips by twisting the gate tight.

Attach 3 D-rings on the cage (there are 6 in total) to each carabiner clip (try to stack them in a way that makes sense and keeps the structure smooth). Lock both cariner clips by twisting the gate tight.
STEP 3
Very slowly start to raise the suspension point by pulling on the chain.
At the mid point (when cage straps are starting to straighten), double check that all of the internal snaps are still securely attached around the ring.
Once the straps are taut (but before cage is off the ground) have the submissive adjust their body so that both nipples are in the middle of a diamond shape (where the straps intersect) and that any intimate areas are also exposed in a diamond shaped opening should you want access.

The cage will get more and more snug around the submissive's body as it is raised (think of a Chinese finger trap).
This is a great position for nipple stimulation, impact play, intimate worship, CBT, tease & denial and sensation play. Use the violet want or Hitachi vibrator on the exposed areas of the skin. Insert an anal plug before restraining your submissive in the cage.
Add some bondage straps on the outside of the cage around the body (not on joints) to increase the intensity of the compression bondage experience.
Add a hood, gag and/or blindfold.
It may fun/mean to swing or spin your submissive while they have no control in the cage. Just make sure to have a bucket or some rags nearby if your submissive is prone to motion sickness.
This cage can put a lot of pressure on the nerves in the shoulder so the submissive may only be able to tolerate it for a short period of time (15 - 20 mins). Before play, make sure to negotiate a safe word/gesture to communicate if there is pain or extensive discomfort. Check in regularly and lower the cage if the submissive experiences any tingling or numbness in hands or arms.
The submissive may be off balance when the cage is lowered and removed. Offer them the option to steady themself by placing a hand on your body or by holding them while they get their bearings and step off the circular platform and onto the floor.
Use a Lysol wipe/disinfectant spray to clean the circular platform and wipe down any straps that came into contact with the body. Don't forget to wipe down the floor under cage if a mess has been made. It's best to do so before lowering it to make sure the bottom side of the cage stays clean.
